Flipped Classroom
I recently came across this video on the Flipped Classroom model of teaching when I was perusing a past student's digital project: (http://aninstructorslearningjourney.blogspot.ca/search/label/Flipped%20Learning%2FClassroom)
Within the Flipped Classroom model of instruction, do you feel that having the instructional time and homework time roles reversed would have a positive or a negative effect on your class?
I came across this video:

After watching the video I became more convinced that this model really does have substantial benefits on the learners. Everyone in the classroom seemed excited and eager to learn. The school environment became a place that students 'wanted' to be, rather than a place they 'dreaded' to be. I particularly liked the fact that the instructional time can be at a time that the student finds convenient. With the busy lives of families in this day and age, I can see the many benefits of this model of instruction.
I am eager to learn more - this is way too exciting!!!
