PIDP 3240 Media Enhanced Learning

Poll Everywhere https://www.polleverywhere.com/

This was the first 'media' technique I read about after beginning my course.

I feel their website could be enhanced by providing a video tutorial on how the system works. I had to do a bit of digging around, and a lot of reading to discover how it all works.  A quick video would have saved some time.

I am still unclear on whether the students name would be publicly displayed on the screen. How embarrassing for them if they got the question wrong!

I would like to read more about this when I have the opportunity. I found out about this platform after visiting the Poll Everywhere website.

Venngage - Free infographic maker https://venngage.com/

I saw this on a forum post by Joleen Warmerdam. She said this site was user-friendly. Free templates and blank templates (which she used to give her more freedom for a simple and effective infographic). She said there are tutorials available. Lots of options, ability to upload photos and images if she chose to. Up to 5 free templates. Here is a link to her infographic: https://infograph.venngage.com/p/254649/professionalism
